Riffonic - guitar trainer
Riffonic is a guitar trainer in your browser: metronome, exercises, chords, tabs and note recognition via your audio interface. Practice and create riffs.
Riffonic is an interactive platform for learning guitar and bass, creating tabs and riffs, and training rhythm, chords, and technique directly in the browser.
What is Riffonic
Riffonic is an interactive platform for learning guitar and bass right in the browser: no install, ready from the first click. It brings together a metronome and interval timers, a notes trainer with play recognition (guitar connected by cable through an audio interface), a chord trainer with a backing track, a riff and tab composer, and a community where you can listen to and publish tabs. The interface and learning materials are available in eight languages.
Where to start
If you are just picking up a guitar, start with the section on learning from scratch: posture, tuning, string names, and tabs. Then open the metronome and the chord trainer and practice with a short plan - the guides tell you what to train and in what order. The 100-lesson course leads from first chords to solos and technique.
What is inside
The metronome trains rhythm and strumming, the notes trainer and exercises train the fretboard and accuracy, the chord trainer trains chord changes, and Riffonic lets you build riffs and tabs. Play recognition compares your notes with the exercise in real time. Every tool is linked to guides that explain how to use it.
